Tuesday Tip #10

How to Breathe

I got a great question from one of my students. She asked, "Christina, how should I breathe when I swing?" In this Tip of the Week, we answer that great question! If you follow this tip, you'll definitely get more distance with all your shots. So let's get to it!

Sacramento Area Playday @ Ancil Hoffman

On Monday, June 17, our area was honored to have a very special player join our Ancil Hoffman playday.  Karen Garcia, who is a member of EWGA, is the US Senior Amateur Champion for 2015 and she played with us for a very hot but fun round.  She shot a 75 and won low gross over the field.

After golf at our luncheon, I had her say a few words to our ladies, and she showed us what a down to earth and really great person she is.  She offered encouragement to everyone and was delightful to talk to.  She doesn't get to attend all the events she would like since she is still working as a high school guidance counselor, but we sure are grateful she was able to join us for our event.  Thank you so much Karen.
