2016 Wildhawk Women's Golf Club Invitational brings in $1800 for PWGA Junior Golf Grants Program

The Wildhawk Women's Golf Club held their annual Wild Wahine Luau Invitational on June 15, 2016. This year, through the generosity of their members and invitational participants, the club was able to donate $1,800 to the PWGA Junior Golf Grants Program. Over the past 11 years, they have now donated $17,300 to charity: $11,200 tot he Susan G. Komen Foundation through the PWGA and $6,100 to the PWGA Junior Grants Program.

This year's committee and all of their members worked very hard to raise funds by soliciting hole sponsors and/or serving as a hole sponsors themselves, as well as donating cash and items towards their raffle and donating food for their morning breakfast. On the day of the event, they raised donations through the raffle, selling mulligans and their very popular, "Hula Boy Hole", where for a $5 donation a player could have the Hula Boy stationed at Hole 18 drive her tee shot over the creek; this hole alone raised $710 and the raffle raised $2,200. Thank you Wildhawk Women's Golf Club for your generous donation and hard work!
